Des McGarry
Managing Director
Des is Managing Director and co-founded
Invesco in 1991. Des has over 25 years
experience in Employee Benefits and is
responsible for the overall management
and financial operations of Invesco.
Andy Kelly
Director / Head of Wealth Management Advisory Service
Andy joined Invesco in 1997 and has
25 years experience in the Pension and
Investment industry having worked with
New Ireland Assurance for 7 years and
Norwich Union for 9 years.
Brian McGarry
Director
Brian joined Invesco in 1996 having
spent 8 years as a Pensions Consultant
with Irish Pensions Trust.
Gerry Winters
Director / Head of Consulting
Gerry joined Invesco in June 2001.
Prior to this, Gerry worked in Mercer
for 11 years. Gerry is an Associate of
the Pensions Management Institute, an
Associate of the Irish Institute of Pension
Managers and a Chartered Fellow of
the Chartered Institute of Personnel
and Development.
Miceal Gunning
Director
Miceal has been with Invesco since
2000 and has over 14 years experience
in the Pension and Investment industry.
Prior to joining Invesco Miceal worked
with Norwich Union, Ulster Bank and
Bank of Ireland.
Frank Downey
Director / Head of Actuarial
Frank joined Invesco in April 2005. He has
over 25 years experience in the Actuarial
and Employee Benefits fields and has
served on the Council and a number of
Committees of the Society of Actuaries
in Ireland. Frank previously worked with
Buck Heissmann Consultants and Irish
Life. He holds a BA in Economics from
Trinity College, Dublin and qualified as
an actuary in 1987.
Paddy Swan
Director / Investment Division
Paddy graduated with a BA Honours
Degree in Economics from UCD in 1987.
Before joining Invesco in 2000 he had
built up 13 years industry experience in
Trinity Bank, Dublin, State Street Bank,
Boston and Eagle Star, Dublin.
Finian O’Driscoll
Director
Finian joined Invesco in 2008 having
spent over 25 years with Mercer, most
recently as part of the Irish Senior
Management Group with responsibility
for the Munster region.
John Lucey
Director
John has over 20 years experience in the Irish pension industry having previously worked with Coyle Hamilton Willis and Irish Life. John is an Associate of both the Irish Institute of Pensions Managers and the Pensions Management Institute. John was previously a director of Traders Financial Services (Cork) Limited, which was acquired by Invesco in October 2009.
